Mining Surveys took part in the Extractive Industry Geology Conference 2016 held at The University of Birmingham.
This year Mining Surveys, along with Aerial Inspection & Mapping Surveys, attended the annual EIG Conference organised by chairman Simon McCurdy and committee.
The conference was well organised with the first day starting off with an ice-breaker reception, where everyone attending got the chance to meet and greet each other. The event was packed with lectures delivered by delegates from the industry over the following two days. It also had excellent networking opportunities during breaks and lunch where everyone assembled at the Trade Stand Exhibition.
Mining Surveys and Aerial Inspection & Mapping Surveys took part in setting up a Trade Stand where we displayed our long range laser scanner and two of our Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. The event proved to be successful in making contacts and sharing ideas with our peers in the industry.
The final dinner was a great way to enjoy being around the other delegates and to unwind from the events during the day.
We would like to thank the EIG Conference committee for doing such a great job in creating a fantastic event. We are happy to say that MSUK and AIMS enjoyed the event very much and appreciate the hard work that was put into organising the whole thing.
